Did you use PostScript fonts?
PostScript fonts generally output better than Apple TrueType fonts.
If you're using TrueType fonts, run a test with your printer to
ensure the RIP (raster-image processor) can efficiently output
TrueType.

Have you defined all colors correctly?
Please work from printed Pantone swatch books when you specify
colors. If you are using a fifth color, define it as a spot color.
Since programs define tints using different percentages, please
don't specify color-breaks for your tints.

Did you size your proofs at 100%?
Hardcopy proofs must be sized at 100%. Before printing your proof,
activate the registration mark function of your page-layout or
drawing program and tile the proof if necessary to be sure that
registration marks appear on it. Scaling your proof is acceptable
provided dimensions are marked correctly.

Have you identified all images?
Please include all EPS files that appear in your QuarkXPress,
PageMaker or drawing software document along with their parent
files. If you're supplying us with a disk, include a laser proof
with it. |
